Sometimes in life your lucky enough to find life long friends. Friends who no matter what you do or what silly choice you make are there for you. This year I want to do something extra special for the kiddos, instead of doing an annual Christmas Gift Exchange they have to make something to give to whoever name they choose. So for me, I'm making the kids a DVD of all the fun times they have had with each other so far. I have so many pictures to go through.. so many disks! (Whats a disk? lol) A few of these pictures I came across made me laugh. The ones I'm sharing today are of Arrianna and Ali. A few years back Anna made Ali a scarpbook, but Im hoping to do one for her also. Here's the scoop....
Ali's mom Marisa, is someone I consider to be one of those Lifelong friends. Most wouldn't know her as my best friend, because in all my posts and the majority of my pictures you see the likes of Sarah, Wendy, Anna and Heather... But believe me. Marisa is one of my closest friends. I <3 Marisa even though shes far away... if I need her I can call her for anything. Most times I call her because I know she wont give me the answer I want to hear. She gives it to me rough, sometimes so rough and brutally honest I wouldn't talk to her for weeks. Those were our "We're breaking up days". Often times I would think if anything would happen to me, Id hope Marisa and Scooter would stay active in my kids lives. We have similar strict parenting styles, and Idk... I just love her. I don't think I realise how much so until now that shes not living in the same city as me. I miss her laugh, her messy car, I miss pancakes, just the two of us (except for her crazy dog in the car) at Ihop.
Arrianna and Ali were born destined to be friends.... I can only hope that through the miles and the different interests and likes that they remain friends. Anyhow.. I'm rambling... here's some
of my favorite pictures of them!
This picture above was of one of my favorite trips to Disneyland! Our families both camped out in one hotel room (One Queen bed, One set of bunkbeds and a rollaway!) and surprisingly laughed the whole night. (Then listened to snoring from all the guys!)
